Jeffrey Geary, RA, AIA, a Tottenville Resident, has been an active member of the Staten Island Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Staten Island). Mr. Geary has been an active member since his joining the AIA in 2004 as chairperson of various integral committees including the Education Outreach Committee.Mr Geary was also instrumental in coordinating AIA resources and personnel with the Department of Buildings in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy to conduct emergency inspections and evaluations.
Jeffrey Geary found his love for the built environment under the tutelage of his father, a General Contractor based here on Staten Island. Born and raised on the South Shore of Staten Island, Mr Geary graduated from NYIT in 1997 with a Bachelor’s of Architecture and working under the guidance of licensed AIA Architects since 1998. Upon obtaining his licensure in 2004 and openening his own practice has been an active Member of the AIA since 2004, and member of the Chapter EXCOMM beginning in 2008.

Jeffrey Geary also has participated with the New York City Department of Building in various building and energy code revisions in 2014,2016 and currently the Flood Zone Regulations due to be submitted for approval by the City Council.
Jeffrey Geary also volunteers his expertise with the Community as a representative on the Land Use Committee for Community Board 3.
