Candace Maroney was hired by Pella Windows and Doors in 2010 as an inside sales representative. For 6 years she assisted homeowners and contractors at Staten Island’s Pella Showroom located at 1424 Richmond Ave. After that she was promoted to an Architectural Solutions Consultant position to work closely with architects to assist in specifying Pella windows and doors on their projects. Candace primarily organizes and presents CEU Lunch and Learns with various architectural firms. She also organizes and hosts VIP trips to Pella, Iowa, allowing architects to tour Pella Corporation’s manufacturing and testing facilities. In the past, she has even hosted architects with unique VIP tours such as Pella’s luxury showroom in Chicago. This trip offered a complimentary CEU credited boat tour in Chicago’s three rivers. Her intent of these tours is to create enthusiasm within the architectural community in conjunction with Pella’s products and architectural services. Candace also contributes to organizing many of Pella’s other events such as an annual golf outing, and Pella’s annual AIA Boat Tour around NYC. Every event Candace is a part of she makes sure that architects are accredited with a CEU presentation and understands the services Pella provides for the architectural community.
Candace is currently an affiliate member of the Staten Island Chapter and is in attendance every month at the chapter’s meetings. In December of 2017, she was awarded with a certificate of appreciation from the Chapter. Candace is also an affiliate member of the Jersey Shore AIA, where she is in attendance at chapter meetings and provides similar architectural services.
Prior to Candace’s career at Pella Windows, she was employed by Credit Suisse First Boston, where she worked as a recruiting coordinator in their Investment Banking Department. Candace has also worked for her family’s catering hall business, LiGreci’s Staaten while she attended school.
Candace graduated from the Wood Tobe-Coburn School in 1994, and is also an alumni of New York University. Candace currently lives in Westerleigh Staten Island with her daughter.
Kurt Bulwith is currently a Trade Sales Representative for Pella Windows and Doors where works with architects, builders, contractors, and homeowners. He was hired by Pella in 2009 as a Retail Sales Representative where he focused on providing the right product in conjunction with the correct installation for residential homes. In 2014, he switched over to his current position. Overall, Kurt has over 13 years’ experience in window and door replacement and is responsible for the sale of over 4000 projects in his career. In 2018, Kurt was awarded with Pella Corporation’s highest achievement of Presidents Club. This is where Pella selects the top percent of eligible sales representatives who meet and exceed 7 statistical requirements. In 2005, Kurt graduated from the University of Maine where he earned his bachelor’s degree in public administration as well as being a full scholarship athlete in football. Today he lives in Bayonne, NJ where he raises his 6-year-old son TJ.
Aside from selling windows and doors, Kurt is highly involved in the building community. Kurt is not only in attendance every month at the Staten Island’s chapter meetings, but he also provides excellent product information along with multiple installation recommendations. Kurt is dedicated sponsor to the organization. In December of 2017, he was awarded with a certificate of appreciation from the AIA, Staten Island Chapter. In addition to the AIA, Kurt is also a full-time board member of the Home Improvement Contractor Association of Staten Island also known as the H.I.C. Kurt is a part of making all the decisions for the organization to help licensed contractors with up-to-date information involving D.O.B. regulations, NYC Consumer Affairs facts in addition to providing them opportunities to for their business to grow. Every year Kurt is highly involved in organizing the H.I.C. Home Show, which is held annually every March in the center court of the Staten Island Mall.
